Where hope is planted and growth begins

Growth takes root when people feel seen, heard, and supported enough to take the next step.

Hi, I’m Emily

Choosing a therapist is a personal decision, and I believe one of the most important parts of therapy is finding someone who feels like the right fit.

For more than 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, teens, adults, and families through life’s challenges. While every client brings a unique story, my goal is always the same: to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported while building practical skills that help long after you leave my office.

My passion for working with families began long before I became a therapist. Growing up in a home that welcomed foster children with special needs taught me that every family has its own story, strengths, and struggles. Those experiences shaped not only the therapist I became, but the way I view every person who walks through my door—with curiosity, compassion, and without judgment.

When working with children and teens, I believe lasting change happens when parents and caregivers are part of the process. Children don’t exist in a vacuum, and therapy is most effective when the skills we practice together can be supported at home. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each family’s unique needs.

Whether you’re navigating challenges of your own or seeking support for someone you love, my hope is that you’ll leave each session feeling encouraged, equipped with new tools, and confident that you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone.

I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and my Master of Social Work from Grambling State University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over two decades of clinical experience serving children, adolescents, adults, and families.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you come to therapy. That’s what we’re here to work through together.

I’m glad you’re here.
